Design Sense (also known as cognition), describes a specific sense that is heightened for you. Think of it as your super power.
SMELL
Your strongest sense is the way you interact with the world and draw in important information. Try to avoid artificial interference wherever possible to maintain the integrity of your natural sense of smell. Artificial scents will cause your sense of smell to dull and be less effective. With this sense, you smell food before you buy it or eat it in order to begin the digestion process. Your sense of smell will alert you to things being ‘off’ in a room or nearby area. If you “smell a rat”, then you probably do. Discernment by smell.
TASTE
Your strongest sense is the way you interact with the world and draw in important information. Try to avoid artificial flavors and enhancers wherever possible to maintain the integrity of your natural sense of taste. Savoring your food is the way to enhance digestion. Food for this person needs to be visually appealing. When getting to know someone, kissing is an important early step for this sense.
OUTER VISION
Your strongest sense is the way you interact with the world and draw in important information. Try to avoid artificial interference wherever possible to maintain the integrity of your natural affinity for the beauty of the world. This sense is very much attuned to aesthetics. It is therefore important to make your office space visually appealing, your home welcoming and beautiful. You appreciate arts and flowers, and this type of environment will suit you well.
INNER VISION
Your strongest sense is internal and intangible. It is the third eye of inner vision. Imagination is active and powerful for this person. It is helpful to practice meditation with visualization for your future. You may begin by imagining something as simple as the next meal you will eat or visualize the details of the amazing life you will have, either way, your inner vision is the place where it all begins.
FEELING
Your strongest sense is the way you interact with the world and draw in important information. Try to avoid artificial interference wherever possible to maintain the integrity of your natural affinity. You are sensitive to the energy in a room, and can ‘read’ a room when you walk in. Electro-magnetic fields interfere with your digestion so sitting away from electrical appliances when you eat is recommended.
TOUCH
Your strongest sense is the way you interact with the world and draw in important information. Try to avoid artificial interference wherever possible to maintain the integrity of your natural affinity. You use your hands to determine the freshness of food and eating with your hands is great when feasible. You are likely to be touching things in your environment all the time, perhaps keeping something small in your hand to play with. Touch is your language of understanding your environment.
Thank you for publishing this. It encouraged me to pause, reflect, and appreciate the senses I use most to navigate my world.
Hi Brandon, How are you doing with your design sense information? Let me know if you’d like to learn more. Human design readings contain so much great information!
